Samantha Dolecki (she/her) is a digital illustrator based in Paris, France.

 

Samantha's love for classic storytelling, fostered by fairy tales of knights, mermaids, and creepy creatures, has been a driving force since her early years. Initially trained in 2d animation, Samantha subsequently earned her BFA in Illustration.

Samantha is passionate about children's book illustration, aiming to infuse her work with the magic she felt as a child reading and watching her favourite stories. From growing up in England to living in various locations across the United States, Samantha pulls inspiration from all the real-life wonders and unique people she's met. When she's not illustrating or making up stories, you can find Samantha hiking through the woods, hunting for treasures at thrift stores, or drinking too much coffee.
